The other day, I had the opportunity to eat lunch at
Le Cigalon, a seaside restaurant in Cagnes-sur-Mer (just outside of Nice). Seated on the large wooden deck, my table was under a sun umbrella, with ocean breezes that were like whispers in the wind.
Lunch included
une salade italienne, une pizza marguerite,and l’andouillette de Troyes(a regional specialty), consumed while listening to the breaking
waves of the Mediterrean Sea and sipping a glass of chilled rosé! It was amusing to watch the sailing school class line up, likes ducks in a row, from the pergola-covered deck area of the restaurant.
I couldn’t help but notice the zen-like decor, the serveur with his American-pattern sneakers
, and families (and dogs) enjoying themselves!
